As a strict adherent to the national standard of Food Additive Silica, Zhongqi has built the industry’s first full-chain laboratory covering "R&D - pilot test - mass production", equipped with Malvern particle size analyzers and ICP-MS.
Different from traditional anti-caking agents, Zhongqi’s food additive silica (CNS 02.004) has dual properties of "physical bulking + adsorption efficiency enhancement".
With 14 years of in-depth industry experience, Zhongqi has built a "north-south echoing" production network supported by Guangdong Haiahua (Guangzhou R&D Center + Longyan 30,000-ton production line) and Shandong Zhonglian (overseas sales subsidiary).

Recently, Zhongqi (Guangdong) Silica Materials Co., Ltd., a provincial-level specialized, sophisticated, distinctive and innovative enterprise, officially launched a new silica anticaking agent. As a leader in China’s high-end food-grade silica industry, this new product launch not only demonstrates the company’s R&D strength, but also provides key support for quality upgrades in the food, pharmaceutical and other fields. Since its establishment in 2011, Zhongqi (Guangdong) Silica has always focused on the production and application research of silica. It has secured a leading position in the industry relying on 21 domestic patents and a strict quality control system. The company has built production workshops in line with global GMP standards, and is equipped with high-end testing equipment such as atomic fluorescence spectrometers and laser particle size analyzers. Full-process control from production to delivery ensures the stability and purity of product quality. The newly launched silica anticaking agent has achieved a performance breakthrough based on its existing products. This new anticaking agent inherits the core advantages of silica materials: its white and fluffy physical form effectively solves the caking problem of granular and powdered products caused by moisture absorption and pressure, while also having strong adsorption capacity. Compared with traditional products, it further improves specific surface area and porosity through optimized particle size distribution (the precise particle size control technology is inherited from the company’s mature production process with an annual output of 3800 tons of silica). It significantly enhances flowability and stability while maintaining low bulk density. Critically, the new product fully complies with the National Food Safety Standard for the Use of Food Additives (GB 2760-2024) and meets the CNS No. 02.004 standard, making it safely applicable to egg powder, milk powder, cocoa powder, pharmaceutical preparations and other products. From an industry perspective, this new product accurately meets market development needs. Data shows that the global silica anticaking agent market size reached USD 469 million in 2024, and is expected to increase to USD 688 million by 2031, with a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 5.7%. As a major global consumer market, China maintains strong demand growth. Currently, China’s anticaking agent market is upgrading towards green and high-efficiency development. Fumed silica (commonly known as fumed silica) is an artificially synthesized amorphous white free-flowing powder, featuring non-toxicity, odorlessness, and non-pollution. It has a primary particle size of 7-80 nm and a specific surface area usually greater than 100 m²/g.
Gel-processed silica, also known as aerogel-processed silica or colloidal silica, is an amorphous silica material prepared by the sol-gel method. Using sodium silicate, tetraethyl orthosilicate, etc. as silicon sources, it is made through processes such as sol formation, aging, and drying (supercritical or freeze-drying to retain pores).
