1. Product Description
ZLSIL-K44 is a synthetic amorphous silica opening agent for plastic applications, appearing as a white powder and produced through an exclusive proprietary process. Its CAS No. is 112926-00-8 (former CAS No. 7631-86-9) and EINECS No. 231-545-4. Characterized by high purity, a porous structure and a high specific surface area, this product has excellent compatibility with plastic resins such as PP, PE, PET and PVC. It can be used without grinding, requires a low addition level and has outstanding dispersibility, without affecting the transparency and mechanical strength of plastic films. Non-toxic and pollution-free, it contains no volatile substances or exudates, effectively guaranteeing the quality of packaging products. It can solve the problem of macromolecular chain entanglement when films come into contact by reducing exposed molecular chains during polymer processing to achieve efficient opening. At the same time, it improves the slip, anti-blocking and anti-creep properties of films and also plays a reinforcing role, making it a high-quality raw material for the production of opening masterbatches for various plastic films.

- High oil absorption value for high filling demand: The product has a high DBP oil absorption value, enabling high-proportion filling in the production of opening masterbatches. After filling, the masterbatch has no agglomeration or exudation and features stable molding performance.
- Simplify the processing process: It can be directly mixed with carrier resins without grinding and has good dispersibility, reducing the process cost of masterbatch production and improving processing efficiency.
- Retain the core performance of films: It has good compatibility with the resin matrix, and the addition will not reduce the transparency and mechanical strength of plastic films, ensuring the appearance and use performance of films.
- Adapt to multi-scenario processing: Widely applicable to the production of opening masterbatches for various plastic films such as PP, PE, PET and PVC, meeting the requirements of different processing technologies such as film blowing, cast film and extrusion. For the ultra-low moisture requirement of PET film production, the product's performance remains unaffected after drying at temperatures below 300℃.

4. Storage and Operation Requirements
- With a high specific surface area, the product is easy to adsorb moisture and volatile substances in the air, so it should be stored in a sealed way in a dry, ventilated and cool environment, with a shelf life of 24 months in an unopened state. An application performance test must be completed before use beyond the shelf life, and the product can only be used after passing the test.
- Dust prevention measures should be taken during loading, unloading, transportation and use to prevent dust emission; the stacking height shall not exceed 10 layers to avoid damaging the product particle structure and affecting dispersibility due to extrusion.
- During extrusion processing, shear forces may reduce dispersion efficiency the product's dispersion effect, so the dispersion time should be properly extended; it is recommended to use up the product at one time after opening the package to prevent the attenuation of opening and dispersion performance caused by moisture absorption.
