1. Product Description
ZLSIL-K39 is a synthetic amorphous silica opening agent for plastic grade, appearing as a white fine powder and manufactured via an proprietary process. Its CAS No. is 112926-00-8 (former CAS No. 7631-86-9) and EINECS No. 231-545-4. Boasting a porous structure and high specific surface area, this product features excellent compatibility with plastic resins and can be used without grinding. It requires a low addition amount and offers superior dispersibility, without compromising the transparency and mechanical strength of plastic films. Non-toxic and pollution-free, it contains no volatile substances or exudates, effectively ensuring the quality of packaging products. It can reduce exposed molecular chains during polymer processing and avoid macromolecular chain entanglement between films, and fundamentally solve the film opening problem. Meanwhile, it lowers the adhesive force of films during friction with other objects to improve slip property, enhances the anti-blocking and anti-creep properties of films in high-speed packaging lines, and also exerts a reinforcing function on films. It is suitable for the production of opening masterbatches for various plastic films such as PP (Polypropylene), PE (Polyethylene), PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate) and PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride).

- Suitable for masterbatch production with multiple substrates: Directly applicable to the preparation of opening masterbatches for PP, PE, PET and PVC plastic films, eliminating the need for additional grinding, simplifying the masterbatch production process and improving processing efficiency.
- Low addition with high efficiency: Relying on its high specific surface area and porous structure, it achieves an excellent opening effect even with a small addition amount, disperses uniformly in the masterbatch without agglomeration, and does not affect the subsequent processing performance of the masterbatch.
- Ensure product quality: It does not alter the transparency and mechanical strength of plastic films after addition, and no exudates will contaminate the contents of packaging, meeting the basic quality requirements of various packaging products.
- Adapt to special processing requirements: For the ultra-low moisture requirement of PET film production, the product can be dried below 300℃ with no performance attenuation after drying, fully complying with the processing standards of PET films.
- Improve production line efficiency: Significantly enhance the anti-blocking property of films in high-speed packaging lines, reduce film jamming and blocking during processing, improve the anti-creep property of films, and ensure the stability of high-speed continuous processing.
4. Storage and Operation Requirements
- With a high specific surface area, the product is prone to absorb moisture and volatile substances in the air, so it should be stored in a sealed manner in a dry, ventilated and cool environment, with a shelf life of 24 months in an unopened state. It can reduce exposed molecular chains during polymer processing and avoid macromolecular chain entanglement between films, and it can only be put into production after passing the test.
- Necessary protective measures should be taken during loading, unloading, transportation and use to prevent dust emission; the stacking height of the product shall not exceed 10 layers to avoid affecting the product's dispersibility due to extrusion.
- During extrusion processing, equipment extrusion will affect the product's dispersion effect, so the dispersion time should be appropriately extended; it is recommended to use the product immediately after opening the package to avoid the decline of opening performance caused by moisture absorption.
