Silica Product Selection Guide Released: Test Data of 11 Models Unveiled, ZLSIL-W58A Becomes the First Choice for Multiple Scenarios
In food processing, pharmaceutical preparations and other fields, silica, as a key auxiliary material, the accuracy of its selection is directly related to product quality stability and production efficiency. Recently, a comprehensive test and analysis report covering 11 mainstream silica models and 18 application scenarios was officially released. It not only solves the problem of high trial-and-error costs for enterprises in product selection, but also provides directly referenceable data support in the form of attached tables, offering a new basis for precise product selection in the industry.
All-Round Model Stands Out, Product Positioning Shows "Polarization"
The report shows that among the 11 ZLSIL series silica models, ZLSIL-W58A has become an "all-rounder" with its performance of covering 12 application fields and a applicability rate of 66.7%. It can be adapted to both powder-based foods such as plant grease powder and egg white powder, and processing scenarios such as flavors and spices and instant beverages. Among them, 3 fields have reached the "recommended level" (marked with "**"), and its adaptability is far superior to other models (see Appendix 1: Core Parameter Table of Silica Product Models for details).
In contrast to the "all-round" products, the industry's product positioning shows an obvious "specialized" trend: 8 models are only applicable to 1-3 fields, accounting for 72.7%. For example, ZLSIL-W58BF is specially designed for the flavors and spices field, and ZLSIL-R92 is only suitable for the production of animal and vegetable oils/beer. Although their application scope is narrow, they have higher performance matching in specific scenarios, providing precise options for enterprises with special needs.
Significant Differences in Demand Across Application Fields, Flavors and Spices Track is the Most "Diversified"
From the perspective of the downstream application end, there are obvious differences in the product selection space in different fields. Among them, the flavors and spices field has the most optional models, with 6 products adapted, 4 of which have reached the recommended level. Enterprises can choose flexibly according to formula requirements (see Appendix 2: Adaptation Table of Application Fields and Silica Models for details); followed by the plant grease powder and tomato powder fields, each with 4 applicable models, meeting the production needs of enterprises of different sizes.
However, some fields are facing the situation of "limited choices": only ZLSIL-W18 is suitable for the emulsifier field, and only ZLSIL-T38 is available for the edible salt field. Industry experts remind that such enterprises need to plan their supply chains in advance to avoid affecting production progress due to model adaptation issues; while only 2 models are suitable for the pharmaceutical field, both of which are at the recommended level, ensuring the safety and compliance of pharmaceutical preparations.
"Core + Supplementary" Procurement Model is Highly Praised, Achieving Remarkable Cost Reduction and Efficiency Improvement
Based on the test data, experts have put forward targeted suggestions: for enterprises with a wide range of product categories and application scenarios, ZLSIL-W58A can be prioritized as the "core model" to reduce inventory categories; supplemented by ZLSIL-W58B (adapted to 7 fields) and ZLSIL-W50S (adapted to 6 fields) as "supplementary models" to achieve full-scenario coverage.
"In the past, we had to repeatedly test samples for product selection, which was both time-consuming and wasteful of raw materials. Now we can quickly match products by referring to the attached tables, reducing the trial-and-error cost by 60%," said a purchasing manager of a food additive enterprise. It is estimated that enterprises adopting the "core + supplementary" model can improve inventory turnover efficiency by more than 30% and shorten the product selection cycle by nearly half.
This report not only provides enterprises with actionable product selection plans, but also reflects the "all-round + specialized" product layout trend in the silica industry. In the future, with the upgrading of downstream demand, such precise guides based on actual test data may become an important support for promoting precise production, cost reduction and efficiency improvement in the industry.
