Efficiency Following its technological breakthroughs in the food sector, Zhongqi (Guangdong) Silicon Materials Co., Ltd. has officially launched mass production of the "silica filter aid for beer" – a product developed to address pain points in the beer brewing industry. Derived from an invention patent authorized in July 2023, this technology fills the domestic gap in high-end beer filter aid technology. Traditional filter aids are prone to loss and low in filtration efficiency. In contrast, Zhongqi's newly-developed filter aid adopts silica loading technology. It enhances component stability through hydrogen bonding, preventing material loss during the filtration process. The design of hydrophilic groups increases water passage efficiency by 30%, shortening the beer clarification cycle from 12 hours to 8 hours. Feedback from a well-known beer enterprise during trials showed that after using this filter aid, beer turbidity is controlled below 0.5 EBC, far exceeding industry standards. Zhongqi's Marketing Department revealed that the company has now established strategic cooperation with 2 regional leading beer enterprises, and the product is expected to enter overseas markets within the year.
